How many low-production exotic supercars have we had to gaze at longingly from across the ocean? The prohibitively high cost of homologation for the U.S. market has kept more than a few niche automakers away. Even the mighty McLaren F1 had to be brought in through loopholes, with considerable delays, costs and modifications. But the newSource: Autoblog RSS Feed

Killacycle electrocutes its own quarter mile record [w/VIDEO]

Filed under: EV/Plug-in, On Two Wheels, USA, Racing

Its been a mixed year for the A123-sponsored Killacycle crew. On one hand, they’ve been involved with bringing an electric delivery truck to market and that’s cool. On the racing hand, well, there hasn’t been much to report. Although entered in the TTXGP, they were a disappointing no-show. An expected assault on a land speed record also didn’t materialize. Japanese Artist Creates Bio-Mechanical “Tumor” That Doubles As CPU Load Meter

By David Ponce

It’s connected to a series of motors and pneumatic actuators, and the whole apparatus is controlled by a piece of software on the PC to which its Source: OhGizmo! RSS Feed
